They'd talked about it before between with the buzz of Neil Gaiman writing it and Guillermo Del Toro directing it, then Del Toro went on to do Hellboy II and is working on "The Mountains of Madness".

I just wanted to say, for the record, the first thing I noticed in your post was "MTV Interview" and I had a moment of amusement that you were giving interviews on MTV. I was very disappointed to find out the truth. :)
